About Emma

Emma Snowsill

Emma Snowsill is recognized as the highest award winning woman in ITU Triathlon History. Emma is an Olympic, Commonwealth Games and triple World Champion. She has won the ITU World Cup 8 times and graced the podium 16 times.

A proud Australian, Emma grew up on the Gold Coast dabbling in a multitude of sports such as swimming, ballet, tennis, skiing, basketball and surf lifesaving. She got her first taste of triathlons at age 16 and the rest as they say is history.

Emma won her first National Age Title in 2000 and shortly afterwards won the World Championships in her age group. In 2001 Emma claimed gold at the Sydney Youth Olympic Festival, and the following year in 2002 commenced racing on the open elite circuit throughout Europe and Asia.

Emma won her first senior International race in 2003 at the Japan ITU World Cup and has never looked back.

Triathlon is a summer sport which Emma enjoys chasing across the globe. Emma mainly competes in the ITU governed Olympic Distance World cup series which comprises of a 1.5km swim, 40km (drafted) bike and 10km run. She also enjoys competing in non-drafted events and longer distance races.

After her sensational performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Emma captured the nation’s attention with her bubbly personality and down to earth attitude. She represents a bright new face amongst Australia’s Olympic champions.

Emma aims to achieve high distinction in all race codes and distances and become the very best multi-discipline triathlete she can be. Emma is looking forward to her journey to London 2012.

Emma is proud to be The Natural Confectionery Co.’s number 1 fan and brand ambassador, with the brand helping to support Emma as she prepares for back to back Olympic Gold in London 2012.

As a busy person on the go, Emma loves to enjoy The Natural Confectionery Co’s jellies both after training but also in her downtime.
As she says, “I have to get a lot out of my body so I am really careful what I put into it, which is why I love The Natural Confectionery Company lollies.

As a triathlete I thrive on variety so I love that The Natural Confectionery Company has such a wide range of yummy lollies - from super Soft Jellies, to Fruit Chews, Sours & Licorice, plus all the old classics in the Party Mix. But my absolute favourite has to be the Raspberry Dinosaurs. I love to bite their heads off, before slowly savouring the rest of their chunky little bodies.

With so many delicious lollies to enjoy I’m definitely The Natural Confectionery Company's number one fan!”
