Chop It (Director's Script)

The dad is in the kitchen chopping a cucumber on a chopping board for a salad. There is also fruit on the kitchen bench and a cookbook open. His little daughter enters with a pack of The Natural Confectionery Company Party Animals and he sees her, puts the knife down, and happily says……

Hey, hello possum… and he lifts her onto the bench. He sees the pack of Party Animals and says “mmmm” and takes a snake out of the pack and waves it at her.

He continues to say... The Natural Confectionery Company jellies. And asks her… You know what’s in these? The little girl shrugs her shoulders, shakes her head and looks unsure.

The dad explains… No artificial colours, no artificial flavours, he chops the snake in half and continues to say… and 99% fat free.

He gives her half and they both excitedly say…. Pop, and pop the snake into their mouths and say…mmmm!

The dad reaches into the Party Animal pack she is holding and pulls out a dinosaur. He is about to chop it, when she cries…

[Close up of little girl] Don’t chop the dinosaur daddy!

He does not chop it but devours it quickly and excitedly says... mmmm! while watching her reaction.

[Close up of little girl] She looks horrified with her mouth and eyes wide open and eyebrows raised.

DISSOLVE TO A PACK OF JELLY DINOSAURS, PARTY ANIMALS AND JUNGLE JELLIES ON THE KITCHEN BENCH

The Female Voiceover says…The Natural Confectionery Company
No artificial colours, no artificial flavours and 99% fat free.

We go back to dad and daughter in the kitchen. The dad gets another Party Animal out of the pack she is holding.

[Close up of little girl] She sees the Party Animal he chooses and she firmly exclaims... Chop it!
